THE START...
Founded in 2016, Nola Mae started from a simple but familiar feeling: clothing often made
women feel like they had to change before they were allowed to feel good.
Our founder knew the frustration of fitting rooms, the self-doubt in front of the mirror, and the
habit of saving outfits for “when my body is different.” Getting dressed felt functional, not
empowering. Nola Mae was created to change that.
WHAT WE STAND FOR
We don’t believe women need fixing. We believe in body positivity rooted in honesty, not
perfection. Our clothing is designed for real bodies — bodies that move, change, and live.
We focus on comfort, thoughtful fits, and silhouettes that support rather than hide. Nola
Mae is for women who are done shrinking themselves to meet expectations.
MEET THE OFFICE TEAM
Nola Mae is run by a small office team of two women and one man, all sharing the same
values as our founder. We understand insecurity, and we understand the impact clothing can
have on confidence. Every design decision is made with care, from fabric selection to final
fit, always with the wearer in mind. At Nola Mae, you are never just a size.
WHERE WE ARE NOW
Today, Nola Mae is more than a webshop. It’s a space that encourages women to be
kinder to themselves. We’ve grown since 2016, but our purpose remains the same: creating
clothing that feels good — physically and emotionally.
